Dr Gary Fettke is an Australian physician who was accused 4 1/2 years ago of a crime. Essentially, his "crime" was advising the avoidance of sugars in the diet. Just this week the Australian Health Practitioner's Regulation Agency has not only cleared Dr Fettke of any wrongdoing, but even apologized in writing. Included in the ranks of people harassed by the sugar industry are Professor Tim Noakes in South Africa, Dr Annika Dahlqvist in Sweden, Caryn Zinn (New Zealand Dietician), and Jennifer Elliot (Australian Dietician).
